Scott Hesse Premieres Latest Release, “Intention” at FSC.
December 19, 2023 - Guitarist Scott Hesse premiered his latest album, “Intention”, at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. This is Scott’s fifth solo album and first in 8 years. Known especially for his harmonic and rhythmic inventiveness, Scott is equally at home in straight-ahead or avant garde settings. Since moving to Chicago in 2005, Scott has played at every major jazz venue in the area and been featured in numerous jazz festivals throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada. The trio included Scott on guitar, Clark Sommers bass, and Dana Hall drums & cymbals. Visual artist Dale Pesmen created original artwork in response to the music.
