8/11/26 - The Senya Rogers-Kaufman Quartet performed the music of John Coltrane and Wayne Shorter at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. Senya is a guitarist, bandleader, and composer based in Chicago and New York mainly working in the jazz world. Currently studying at the Manhattan School of Music, Senya has worked under the tutelage of some of the most important jazz musicians in the world including Mike Moreno, Mark Whitfield, Bobby Broom, Rodney Whitaker and Pasquale Grasso. In addition he has shared the stage and studio as a sideman with Marquis Hill, Samara Joy, and Donald Harrison Jr. Senya Rogers-Kaufman guitar, Scott Hesse guitar, Ethan Philion bass, and Isaiah Spencer drums & cymbals. Visual artist Julian Camacho created original drawings in response to the music.
