JAZZ PHOTOGRAPHY RECAP: Sofija Knezevic Performs at FSC by Harvey Tillis

6/4/26 - The Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago presented a performance with award-winning jazz vocalist Sofija Knezevic. “Recognized as one of jazz’s pre-eminent vocalists, young Sofija Knezevic is making her name as one of the most significant singers in jazz today. While her singing is steeped in tradition, her improvisational virtuosity and creativity are breathtaking” said the New York Times. She was accompanied masterfully by Chicago’s own Scott Hesse. Visual artist Sammi Ohlson created original work in response to the music.
