On June 22, 2023 The Juliette Gardner Quintet and the Kenny Thompson Quintet took the stage for two sets of original music.
Juliette Gardner's group opened the evening featuring Juliette Gardner - trumpet/compositions, Kenny Thompson - guitar, Dan VanZeeland - piano, Vinny Kabat - bass, and Christian Hindratno drums.
The second set featured Kenny Thompson’s Quintet finished the evening featuring Kenny on guitar and compositions, Gomeh Barak - trumpet, Chris Madsen - tenor sax, Mike Benning - bass, and Isaiah Keith - drums. Visual artist Alex Puryear created artwork in response to the music.
