June 17, 2024 - Erez Dessel is an improvising pianist and composer, Beth McDonald is a classically trained tuba player gone awry, and Tyler Damon is a Midwestern American artist whose syncretic approach aims to reveal mercurial, impressionistic narratives via drums/percussion & free improvisation. Together their group, Where Were We, played an astoundingly creative set at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. Visual artist Sara Ditchman created an original drawing in response to the music.
