Music Institute of Chicago is offering 4 Jazz Lectures

Music Institute of Chicago is offering 4 Jazz Lectures in lieu of live Jam Sessions this summer.

Each session will be led by a member of our jazz faculty and will include recordings, pictures or video clips, historical information and personal insights from each presenter.  The sessions will conclude with a chat discussion open to all participants.

Our next session is this Monday August 10 from 6:30-8pm CDT on the ZOOM platform.

Jazz Violinist James Sanders will present “ The Legacy of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers ".

James has great insights on this topic. Not to be missed!
