The Stowe Jazz Festival (July 18–20) celebrated with all women bandleaders headlining this year’s lineup. Camila Meza, guitarist, singer and composer from Chile, opened the festivities Friday. Sisters Ingrid, trumpet player and Christine Jesen, saxophone player followed. Other performers included Jennifer Wharton with her band Bonegasm, Maucha Adnet who sang in Brazilian Portuguese, Sheryl Bailey, Sarah Cabral and grammy winner Nicole Zuraitis.
