Hubbard st, in Chicago for 2 nights of music Friday and Saturday with sets at 6pm & 8pm Collier’s latest release “Cosmic Transitions” has put the young Chicago based saxophonist on the national stage with performances throughout the country with a plethora of artist such as: Rene Marie, Chance the Rapper, Stefon Harris, Roy McCurty, Carmen Bradford, Ernest Dawkins, Bennie Maupin, Ari Brown, Robert Irving III, Lewis Nash and many others.

Joel Paterson Trio with Oscar Wilson Green Mill July 22 & 23, 2022
Joel Paterson brings his trio to the legendary Green Mill Jazz Club on Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm for his unique brand of Roots, Jazz and 50’s style jump blues music. Saturday night he will be joined by blues legend Oscar Wilson.

Marques Carroll brings his quintet to Winter’s Jazz Club this Saturday night at 7:30pm. Carroll strives to keep traditional jazz alive but through his love of the music and education explores other genres to continue to expand his sound and his compositions. Carroll will be joined by Lenard Simpson (sax), Christian Dillingham (bass), Greg Artry (drums) and Julius Tucker (piano). Sets at 7:30pm & 9:30pm. The Shawn Maxwell Quartet at the Jazz Showcase this weekend celebrating the release of his new recording “ Expectation and an Experien” Friday & Saturday (8pm & 10pm) Sunday (4pm & 8pm). Joined by Kalyan Pathak on Friday, trumpeter Chad Mccullough on Saturday, Craig Elliot on Sunday, Will Kurk on Friday, Collin Clauson Saturday and Sunday, Michael Barton on bass, Lucas Gillan on drummer Saturday night and Greg Essig on drumset Friday and Sunday.
