Jazz Recap: Twin Talk and Nick Mazzarella’s Meridian Trio Perform at Fulton Street Collective

On February 14th Chris Anderson’s Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago featured both the Nick Mazzarella’s Meridian Trio and Twin Talk for a Valentine's Day double bill.
The 8pm set featured Nick Mazzarella’s Meridian Trio with Nick Mazzarella - sax, Matt Ulery bass, and Jeremy Cunningham drums. The trio performed original compositions throughout the set.
The 9:15pm set featured Twin Talk with Katie Ernst - bass, Dustin Laurenzi - sax, and Andrew Greene drums performing original compositions.
Visual artist Tamara Wasserman created artwork in response to the music.
