Jazz Recap: Vocalist Devon Sandridge Performs at Fulton Street Collective by Harvey Tills

Vocalist Devon Sandridge performed two wonderful sets of music at the Fulton Street Collective in Chicago on November 9th. Devon Sandridge performed two beautiful sets of songs with his remarkable bass-baritone voice similar in touch, phrasing, and vibrato with that of Johnny Hartman whose voice inspired Devon’s career. He was accompanied by Tom Vaitsas organ, Derek Duleba guitar, and Luke Sagadin drums & cymbals. Visual artist Lewis Achenbach created artwork in response to the music. SEE below for photos and the Livestream from that evening. Because the livestream is FREE we encourage you to be generous and help fill the artists’ virtual tip jars! All photos by Harvey Tillis
