The Luminarts Cultural Foundation is currently accepting applications for the 2017 Fellowship in Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Classical Music, and Jazz. If you or someone you know is a Chicago artist, writer, or musician we encourage you to apply online today. You could win $5,000, become a Luminarts Fellow, and as a Fellow be eligible for continued funding for your artistic and career development projects. We've supported Fellows in residencies through our partnerships, local and abroad. We've provided our Fellows with gallery and exhibition spaces, production materials, and marketing and promotional resources. We've funded professional recording studio time for Fellows to complete their albums, hosted album release events, and funded their travels abroad to study in masterclasses and mentorships, compete internationally, and perform around the globe. We've provided Fellows with the time, space, and resources to publish their latest book of poetry or complete the novel they've been focused on, and provided countless performance opportunities in and around our own events, and those of our close partners, patrons, and friends.
