May 2, 2023 The Kabir Dalawari Quintet opened an evening of jazz at Chris Anderson’s Fulton Street Collective in Chicago.
The 1st set group featured Kabir Dalawari - drums, Karli Bunn - alto sax, Michael Pineda - tenor sax, Aval Stanley - piano, and Stephen Parisi - bass.
The 2nd set featured the Live Edge Jazz Trio played a great set of new tunes plus a few standards. Ben Markley - piano, Seth Lewis - bass, and Andy Wheelock - drums. Visual artist the Art God created artwork in response to the music.
