On December 2, 2022 some of Chicago’s finest improvising musicians were led by trombonist/composer Joel Adams for two sets of exciting music at Chris Anderson’s Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. The Chicago Yestet features Nick Mazzarella-alto, Geof Bradfield-tenor, Chris Madsen-tenor, Travis Heath/trumpet, Russ Johnson-trumpet, Steve Duncan-trombone, Joel Adams-trombone, Lloyde Bandow-herbal tinctures, Kenny Reichert-guitar, Chris White-piano, Clark Sommers-bass, Neil Hemphill-drums, Keith Harris-spoken words and Ameerah Tatum-vocals. Visual artist Micah Rademacher created artwork in response to the music. The show was also presented as a Livestream (see below) and virtual tips are appreciated!
