Jonathan Butler Announced as the Headliner for HarborPark Jazz Rhythm & Blues Fest August 17, 2024!



HarborPark Jazz Rhythm & Blues organizers have announced GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter/guitarist Jonathan Butler as the Headliner for the lakefront music event.  Butler, a chart-topping musician who will bring a radiating and electrifying performance to the region’s Jazz Rhythm & in Blues Fest Kenosha.


Butler is one of the 50 greatest guitarist of all times and notably the most sought after internationally acclaimed musicians in Contemporary Jazz, R&B. “We have a very iconic and distinguished guitarist coming to our music festival. Butler’s highly anticipated performance combines the best elements of Jazz, R&B, Worship and beyond. We are excited to welcome him and his traveling fan base to Kenosha’s scenic lakefront", says Tim Mahone, Chair of the, Mahone Fund.

The festival takes place on Saturday August 17th at HarborPark Celebration Place. Gates open at 12:00 p.m.



Additional musical performances will be announced in the coming weeks. Foodies and music fans alike look forward to the opportunity to enjoy great live music, dancing and celebrating with people looking to have a great time at Celebration Place.

 

The HarborPark Jazz, Rhythm & Blues Festival provides a wonderfully diverse mixture of music on Kenosha’s scenic lakefront. Drawing visitors from all over the Midwest, including Michigan, Milwaukee, Chicagoland area and beyond, the event showcases the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan and highlights Kenosha’s dedication to the arts and cultural activities. The event has welcomed various national and regional jazz artists and attracted thousands of music fans to this scenic park. Previous artists include Paul Taylor, Ramsey Lewis, Alex Bugnon, Nick Colionne, Len Rainey and the Midnight Players, Spyro Gyra, Nelson Rangell, Euge Groove, Eric Marienthal, David Benoit, Richard Elliott, Norman Brown just to name a few.


Proceeds from the the HarborPark Jazz, Rhythm & Blues Festival benefits the MaryLou and Arthur F. Mahone Fund which has provided a generation of academic and creative achievement to our City’s Youth.
