Thompson Chicago, the luxury lifestyle Gold Coast hotel, today announces the launch of its Thompson Live Music Series. Beginning Thursday, November 4 at 8 p.m., the inaugural event takes place at the bar at Nico Osteria, the hotel’s Italian seafood eatery. The live music series features Chicago’s own musical talent Arlene Bardelle, an accomplished jazz vocalist with an accompanying pianist. Hotel guests and Chicago-area community members are invited to savor the sounds of beloved jazz hits performed by this local talent throughout the series that is sure to bring great joy and celebration to audiences.

Known for her sultry jazz vocals, Chicago-native Bardelle has been dazzling audiences with her tasteful vocal styling for several years. Bardelle has worked with some of the finest musicians in the city and has a strong Gold Coast connection, having been a mainstay at another Gold Coast-area hotel for many years, where she was discovered by the president of Oxford Hotels & Resorts, George Jordan.

Bardelle headlines the seven-week series, performing four days each week through Sunday, December 19. Performances take place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8-11 p.m. and Sunday from 7-10 p.m.
No reservations are required, and patrons must be at least 21 years of age to attend. In addition to the musical performances, attendees can enjoy standout Italian seafood specialties along with savory cocktails and a splendid wine collection from Nico Osteria in a chic, warm, and inviting dining environment.
